O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition is for a direction to the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's husband namely Mr.K.Sooriya, S/o Kutty, the detenu, who is now under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent, before this Court and to take action against the erring police officials who brutally assaulted the petitioner's husband with iron rods and to release him forthwith.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents police informed this Court that the detenu Mr.K.Sooriya @ Kutty had been remanded to Judicial Custody by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukazhukundram on 05.01.2018 in connection with the Criminal case registered in Crime No.7 of 2018, on the file of Traffic Police Wing, Mamallapuram Police Station.

3.Since the detenu has already been remanded to judicial custody by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukazhukundram, no further adjudication needs to be entertained, in respect of the grounds raised in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
