This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to provide police protection for performing renovation work at Arulmigu Angalaparameswari (Sri Masathamman) Temple, existing at Katachampatti, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District.

2. It is seen that the petitioners have filed this petition to direct the respondents to give police protection for performing renovation works. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
