O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent / complainant police to file charge sheet in Crime No.579 of 2009.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case has been registered in the year 2009 and so far, no action has been taken and the long pendency of the investigation is a kind of harassment given to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that since the Government Servants are involved in the case, the delay is probably due to mandatory sanction that has to be obtained for the prosecution. 2/4

5. Whatever may be the reason, the fact remains that it is a case of the year 2009. Since the matter is pending for more than 10 years, I feel it is appropriate to direct the third respondent to complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
