This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Special Court for SC & ST Act Cases/Principal Sessions Court, Dharmapuri to consider the bail petition of the petitioners, on their surrender, on the same day and on merits in connection with the case in Cr.No.461 of 2024 pending investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. In view of Section 15A of the SC & ST Act, the prayer in this petition cannot be acceded and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to consider the bail petition without any violations of the provisions of the Act. 25.09.2024 Vv To
