ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2022 requesting for pay fixation based on the recommendation made by the Co-operative Sub Registrar / Field Officer, Kadayampatty dated 03.08.2020.

2. Mr.G.Ameedius, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner claims that he is entitled for pay revision. He has also enclosed along with this writ petition the recommendation made by the 2/6

Co-operative Sub Registrar / Field Officer, Kadayampatty dated 03.08.2020, under which, it is observed that the petitioner is entitled for pay revision. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 07.10.2022 requesting for pay revision in the light of the recommendation made by the Co-operative Sub Registrar / Field Officer, Kadayampatty dated 03.08.2020. Since the representation has not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.P.K.Shivakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.G.Ameedius, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the recommendation made by the Co-operative Sub Registrar / Field Officer, Kadayampatty dated 03.08.2020 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2022 on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the recommendation made by the Co-operative Sub Registrar / Field Officer, Kadayampatty dated 03.08.2020 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
