The present petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court by disobeying the order of this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.No.461 of 2017 dated 03.06.2016 made in W.P.No.18778 of 2016.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the order of the Writ Court has been complied with and the retirement benefits, which includes the provident fund, gratuity and salary, was paid to the petitioner from 28.02.2013 to 31.10.2017 and the interest on earned leave at the rate of 6% was also paid on 19.09.2015.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed as willful. In case the petitioner is aggrieved against the payment of retirement benefits, it is open to him to challenge the same in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected sub application is closed.
