COMMON ORDER The defendants are the revision petitioners aggrieved by the dismissal of I.A.Nos.1 & 2 of 2025 in O.S.No.30 of 2019 on the file of District Judge, Tirupattur, in and whereby, the application for reopening of the evidence of defendants for the purpose of examining witnesses, came to be dismissed. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3.Admittedly, the suit is one for specific performance. On the date when the trial Court closed the evidence of the defendants and posted the matter for arguments, there was an advocate boycott, which prevented the parties from entering the witness box. It is also admitted that the counsel appearing for the parties are from Hubli (defendants) and Vellore (plaintiffs) respectively. 4.In view of the above, I deem it necessary that a fair opportunity should be given to the petitioners to put forth all evidence on their side. However, at the same time, considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2019, proceedings will have to be time-bound.

5.In the light of the above, these civil revision petitions are allowed. The order in I.A.Nos. 1 & 2 of 2025 in O.S. No. 30 of 2019 on the file of the District Judge, Tirupattur, is set aside. The trial Court shall permit the defendants to let in evidence on their side and the evidence on the side of the defendants shall be concluded within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the trial Court shall hear the arguments of the parties and dispose of the suit on merits in accordance with law within a period of two moths thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
