ORDER
Challenging the impugned order passed in I.A.No.1 of 2025 in H.M.O.P.No. 508 of 2023 by the learned Sub-Judge, Alandur, the Revision Petitioner husband preferred this Civil Revision Petition.
2.Before the trial court, the respondent wife herein filed an application to direct the revision petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.28,000/- for her per mensem. On considering her submissions, the trial court has ordered to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- as interim maintenance to the respondent wife herein. Aggrieved over that, the Revision Petitioner husband preferred this Civil Revision Petition.

The learned counsel for revision petitioner husband would submit that though he is a Central Government Employee, he has undergone Kidney transplantation and also paying E.M.I. for the loan obtained for purchasing the property purchased in the name of wife, besides, he is taking care of his parents. He would also submit that he is inclined to provide educational expenses by admitting the child in Kendra Vidyalaya School. As he is a Central Government employee, he is entitled to admission in the said school. Therefore, he wanted some modification.
4. The learned counsel for respondent wife would submit that the sum of Rs.20,000/- awarded for interim maintenance, as such is not sufficient and even the child is very comfortable in the said school, wherein she is having residence. Therefore, he raised objections.
5. Heard and considered rival submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on records.
6. On perusal of records, at the time of admission of this Civil Revision Petition, this Court directed to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- as interim maintenance and the same was complied by paying arrears of maintenance. Now, he wanted
to modify the condition. But, the fact reveals that the revision petitioner is employed in Central Government and drawing salary of Rs.80,000/- per month. Now, he had undergone kidney transplantation and also taking care of his mother, besides the respondent is also employed. Considering that and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the revision petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the child viz., Pragya till the disposal of H.M.O.P. If at all, the child is inclined to join Kendriya Vidyalaya School and on her own consent, she may be transferred to that school. With that liberty, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
