ORDER

The present revision petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking expeditious disposal of the suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023 pending on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Puducherry. Page No.1 of 4

2. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. Learned counsel for the revision petitioner submits that the revision petitioner is the defendant in the suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023 filed for permanent injunction. The same relief has been sought for by way of an interlocutory application and an exparte interim injunction has also been granted. However, the said interlocutory application as well as the main suit are still pending for final disposal. Hence, the present revision petition has been filed for speedy disposal of the suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023.

4. Considering that the suit is for a limited relief of permanent injunction and the same is pending from the year 2023 and also considering that the pleadings are already completed, this Court directs the Principal District Munsif Court, Puducherry to expedite the enquiry in the interlocutory application pending, if any, and dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Page No.2 of 4

order and thereafter take up the trial in the main suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023 and frame issues within a period of two weeks and thereafter, the trial court shall dispose of the main suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023 finally on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the parties.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
