ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the fourth respondent to consider the representation dated 12.08.2024 seeking to fix the fair rent at the rate of Rs.12,500/- per month to the petitioner's Shop Nos. 1, 2 & 24, Naraseepuram Main Road, Sandhaipettai area, Thondamuthur Panchayat Commercial Complex on par with other shops viz., Shop Nos.3, 9, 15 and 23 instead of Rs.42,598/-.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation

submitted by the petitioner dated 12.08.2024 seeking reduction/fixation of rent, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
