O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his on-line application dated 29.08.2024 seeking transfer of patta in his favour in respect of the property in survey No.66/6, in Door No.79/B, Kattipoondi Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's son acquired right over the said property under sale certificate dated 01.11.2004 issued by the District Munisf Court, Polur in E.P.No.30/2001. Thereafter, the petitioner's son settled the property by way of settlement deed dated 08.01.2013 in favour of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner got right over the property and he submitted on-line application seeking transfer of patta on 29.08.2024 in application No.2024/N103/06/011690 and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4

4. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the on-line application of the petitioner dated 29.08.2024 and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents 4 and 5 and any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
