Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the 4th and 5th respondent in the river poromboke land in survey nos.110 and 117 situated at Pasigam Village through a surveyor based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2023 and to form a road in the Poromboke land adjacent to riverbed, enable us to reach our agricultural lands and houses.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Gandhi Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that depending upon the survey report, and in case any encroachment is found, then the Authorities would take steps for removal of the encroachment expeditiously.
