WMP.No.28213 of 2023 in WP.No.6754 of 2020 M.DHANDAPANI.,J This petition has been to extend the time for condition No.(a) in the order in W.P.No.6754 of 2020 dated 16.03.2020, dated 16.03.2020 for depositing Rs.25,000/- for another period of one week.
2. It is seen from records that the lorry was seized by the Civil Supplies Department on the ground that the petitioner was illegally transported PDS rice in the said lorry. The petitioner filed a writ petition seeking to release the lorry. This Court, vide order dated 16.03.2020, disposed the writ petition with certain conditions.
3. Till date, the petitioner has not complied with the said conditions and after lapse of four years, the petitioner has filed the petition and seeking to extend the time.
4. The final order has been passed in the year 2020. After lapse of four years, there must be a confiscation order passed as against the petitioner's lorry. Hence, the petition is closed.
