ORDER
The learned Additional Advocate General placed reliance on the Government Order passed in G.O.(D) No.42, Tamil Development and Information (S&P1-1) Department, dated 20.03.2025 and submitted that a punishment has been imposed on the petitioner. Hence, the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied with.
2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there are some procedural irregularities and illegalities in the order of punishment.
3. If that be so, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the order of punishment, in the manner known to law. 2/4
4. Since this Court is of the view that the order passed in the Writ Petition has been complied with, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed to be willful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with the above liberty.
