PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Third Respondent to pass an order based on in view of representation dated 20.06.2025, not to Survey the Petitioner's Property comprised in Survey No.111/4B2, to an extent of 23.5 Cents, in Ullikkottai, Mannargudi Taluk, Thiruvarur District, under the guise of influence of the Fourth Respondent herein. By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondent No.4 is dispensed with.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 20.06.2025, wherein the petitioner has requested not to survey the

petitioner's property comprised in S.No.111/4B2 measuring an extent of 23.5 cents situated at Ullikkottai, Mannargudi Taluk, Thiruvarur District under the influence of the 4th respondent.

At the outset, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the entire Writ Petition is itself misconceived inasmuch as the authorities have issued notice for conduct of survey in respect of the property in S.No.111/6B2, Kandidhampettai Village, Mannargudi Taluk, which is, admittedly, not the petitioner's property. He would further submit that there is no proposal to conduct a survey in respect of the petitioner's property.

This Court finds merit in the submission of the learned Government Advocate inasmuch as the prayer in the Writ Petition is not to conduct the survey in the petitioner's property at S.No.111/4B2, whereas the notice issued by the respondent bears reference to the survey of property comprised in S.No.111/6B2, which has nothing to do with the petitioner's

property.

5. In view thereof, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
