The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing respondent to consider his representation dated 15.09.2023, wherein and whereby he requested the respondent to survey his land to the extent of 0.15 Acre, comprised in Survey No.284/2B, Patta No.668, situated at Kottivakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District by a surveyor within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.09.2023 to the respondent, seeking to survey his land comprised in to survey his land to the extent of 0.15 Acre, comprised in Survey No.284/2B, Patta No.668, situated at Kottivakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District by a surveyor, but, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. It is seen that the petitioner made a representation to the Page No.2/4

respondent on 15.09.2023 to survey his land to the extent of 0.15 Acre, comprised in Survey No.284/2B, Patta No.668, situated at Kottivakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District. However, the petitioner without giving sufficient time to the authority concerned to survey land, approached this Court by way of filing writ petition on 25.09.2023.

5. The petitioner has rushed to this Court in a hurry after giving a representation on 15.09.2023 and the writ petition was filed on 25.09.2023. Therefore, without even waiting for the respondent to act, even for exercising his power, the petitioner has rushed to this Court.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
