ORDER

On the last hearing date, i.e. 02.11.2018, this Court recorded the submission of the learned Additional Advocate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ General that the petitioner as well as the other

beneficiaries would be paid the compensation.

2. The case was adjourned so as to enable the District Collector to file a report to that effect. Accordingly, a report has been filed today wherein it has been stated that the compensation amount of Rs.4,84,259/- has been disbursed to the petitioner herein. A copy of the receipt has also been filed along with the report. The remaining compensation amount of Rs.2,67,59,394/- has been undertaken to be disbursed to the concerned land owners after getting due approval of the State Level Committee.

3. Since the respondents took action only after this Court intervened, this Court will monitor as to whether the remaining compensation is also disbursed.

4. In the light of the above, the contempt petition is closed. However, it will be revived on a later date if any need arises.
