O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to investigate with regard to the petitioner's complaint dated 06.03.2020 and issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has given a complaint to the 2nd respondent about a missing document and so far, missing certificate has not been issued.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that as per circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai issued to the Investigating Officer, certain documents have been called for from the petitioner for enquiry and once it is complied, the respondent police shall issue the missing certificate.

5. Since the matter is pending for a very long time, I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondent police to complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
