O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 10.06.2016 wherein and whereby he sought for cancellation of license issued to him in respect of Tasmac shop No.307.

2. According to the petitioner he was issued with a licence to run a retail out let for selling liquor in Tasmac shop no.307. It is his case that the said shop was running in loss and therefore he is not interested to continue the business. Therefore, he decided to surrender the licence and for such purpose he made a representation on 10.06.2016 followed by a notice sent through his counsel dated 28.04.2016 requesting the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents to cancel the licence issued to him. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought in this writ petition and without expressing any merits on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the respondents to consider the above representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
