This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents for making further investigation in C.S.R.No.290 of 2022 dated 25.10.2022 on the file of the second respondent police. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the complaint given by the petitioner was registered in C.S.R.No.290 of 2022, so far no progress has been made and hence, a direction should be given.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.290 of 2022 and that has been closed recently by stating that the matter is civil in nature. It is further submitted that the petitioner, who is the complainant himself has undertaken that he would seek appropriate remedy through Civil Court. In 2/4

that case, the petitioner is at liberty to get remedy by filing appropriate proceedings before the Civil Court. In case the petitioner is not satisfied with the final report, it is open to him to invoke the provisions under Section 156(3) or 200 Cr.P.C. as well.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
