This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to regularise his services based on the proposal submitted by the second respondent herein in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.179040/NGB 6(1)/2007 dated 09.01.2002 and in light of the Government Order passed in G.O.Ms.No.74 P & AR Department, dated 27.06.2013.

2.Heard Mr.G.Bala, learned counsel for the Petitioner. Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been working continuously as full time sweeper for the past 24 years without any break. He further submitted that the petitioner made several representation to the respondents and since no orders has been passed, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, who is working for more than 24 years, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for regularisation of her service and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
