Alleging that the respondent police interfering in the civil dispute and trying to evict him from the possession of the two shops 1/4

which he has taken lease under the defacto complainant, is before this Court.

The representation given to the police dated 31.08.2024 indicates that the property which belongs to HR & CE department been taken for 99 years lease by one Sankaravelu from whom the petitioner has taken two shops for sublease. The dispute between the landlord and tenant. The respondent police shall enquire the matter and shall interfere in the matter only if there is any commission of cognizable offence. In this regard, the respondent police has scrupulously follow the guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Police dated 09.01.2024 in C.No.18/ADGP/Law and Order/camp/2024.

With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
