O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 7 not to provide compensation in favour of the respondents 8 and 9 for shifting the cattle (40 cows) of the petitioner from Tamil Nadu University of Veterinary Sciences, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai, to some other place and conduct enquiry and provide compensation to the petitioner on the basis of the representation dated 08.08.2024 within a time framed by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made a representation on 08.08.2024 to the respondents 1 to 7 not to provide compensation in favour of the respondents 8 and 9 for shifting the cattle of the petitioner from Tamil Nadu University of Veterinary Sciences, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai, to some other place and conduct enquiry, however, no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2 and 7 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.3 to 5 have no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the petitioner and the respondent Nos. 8 and 9.
