Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to quarry and transport the mineral from stone quarry measuring 5-00-0 Hectares, comprised in Survey No.85/1, situated in Thamaraikulam Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District for the full period of five years i.e., for further period of 167 Days from 06.12.2003.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to subsequent developments nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and hence, the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to the said effect.
