The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents, in particular the eight respondent to take appropriate action of getting into Page No.2 of 6
registration of Gift Deed at comprised Survey No.116/3, situated at Podhaturpet at Thiruvallur District or otherwise the eighth respondent would be issued acquisition of land against the ninth respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2024.
2. The petitioner, owner of agricultural Nanjai land in Survey Nos. 117, 116/2, and 116/3 at Podhatturpet Village, Thiruvallur District, leased a portion to Reliance Jio Infratel Pvt. Ltd. and planted coconut trees on the rest. Alleging that the 8th and 9th respondents colluded to illegally classify and use agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes in violation of G.O.No.78, the petitioner approached this Court through W.P.No.9995 of 2022. The Court directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2022. Despite this, no action was taken until 09.02.2024, when the District Collector instructed the 8th respondent to obtain a Gift Deed for the portion of land where a drainage line was laid. However, even after a resolution dated 25.03.2024 and a directive to complete the process by 15.03.2024, the Gift Deed was not executed. Aggrieved by this inaction and continued encroachment, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. Page No.3 of 6

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the eighth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the eighth respondent has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs eighth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2024 after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as ninth respondent, affording an opportunity of personal hearing and considering the documents filed by both the parties on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate Page No.4 of 6
orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
