ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 and pass orders at the earliest possible time.

Mr.G. Karthikeyan, learned counsel taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 in the light of the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal Nos.7852 and 7853 of 2011 dated 12.09.2011.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 and pass orders taking into consideration of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
