Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police to secure accused person involving in Crime No.815 of 2018 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Judicial Magistrate Court at Vanur.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the respondent police to secure the accused person involved in Crime No.815 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vanur.

2. The decision to secure the accused person involving in Crime No.815 of 2018 would depend on various factors and in case the respondent police are of the view that the accused is cooperating with the investigation and there is no apprehension that he would tamper with the witness, securing the accused may not be warranted.

3. This Court had today passed an order in Crl.O.P.No.27469 of 2019 directing the respondent to complete the investigation within a stipulated time. As such, it would not be appropriate to consider the prayer sought for in the present petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
