The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.309 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, a wordy quarrel arose between the petitioner and the defacto complainant and during the quarrel, the petitioner has abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also assaulted him with knife resulting in him sustaining severe injuries on his head. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and due to previous enmity, a false complaint has been given against him. He would further submit that he has nothing to do with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

vkr petitioner abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also assaulted him with knife resulting in him sustaining 4 stitches on his head. He would further submit that there are four previous cases pending as against the petitioner and hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of injuries and also the bad antecedent of the petitioner and it is stated that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
