Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025 to consider and direct the respondents to formulate and implement a structure and recurring mechanism for the disposal of pending and compoundable traffic violation cases, including on-spot challans as based on successful models followed in other states, such as Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh for all types of vehicles through Lok Adalat's in the State of Tamil Nadu, with coordination between the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority (TNSLSA), District Legal Services Authority (DLSAs) and Tamil Nadu Traffic Police.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petition seeks a direction to the respondents to formulate a scheme for disposal of the pending and compoundable traffic violation cases.

2. These aspects are all matters of judicial administration and no direction can be issued as sought by the petitioner. Petition is misconceived and is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
