O R D E R

The order of reversion reverting the writ petitioner by proceeding dated 14.01.2016, issued by the respondent-Cooperative Society, is under challenge in this Writ Petition. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petitioner has also filed a Revision Petition under section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act. 3.Admittedly, the respondent is a Co-operative Society registered under provisions of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 and the Co-operative Society is not a State, within meaning of Article 12 of Constitution of India. No Writ Petition can be entertained against the order passed by the Cohttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

operative Society, in view of the legal principles settled already decided by the Larger Bench of this Court in Marappan and others Vs. Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Namakkal [2006 (4) CTC 689]. Thus, this Court cannot adjudicate the matter on merits in this Writ Petition. Further, it is left open to the writ petitioner to pursue the same in accordance with law.

4.Accordingly the Writ Petition stands dismissed, as not maintainable. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
