ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue new EB connection (3 phase) to the petitioner Industry namely Srinivasan Engineering works situated at No.25, Lord Govindhadas Nagar, Anna Salai, Bandar Thottam, Chennai - 600 002. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the service connection, standing in the name of one Rajagopal was disconnected by the respondent for the reason that the said Rajagopal had given a letter to the respondent to disconnect the service connection, standing in his name. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh application, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking for 3 phase connection and in such an event, the respondent may be directed to consider the same and give service connection within a stipulated time.

Mr.P.R. Dilip Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that on submission of the application by the petitioner, the respondent would consider the same and if the application is in order, the respondent would grant service connection.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner shall submit his application, seeking for 3 phase electricity connection before the respondent and on submission of the application in proper form, the respondent is directed to consider the same and grant new 3 phase electricity service connection in the name of the petitioner, if the application is in order, within ten days from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner. 6.
