The claim in this petition is for a directions to the second respondent to grant promotion to the petitioner as a Section Supervisor, together with the benefits.

2. It is now stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has reached the age of superannuation.

3. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
