O R D E R

The prayer in this writ petition is for a mandamus for issuance of an appropriate direction to the Executive Engineer, Nandanam Division, Tamil Nadu Housing Board (sole respondent) to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2023.

2.Inter alia, the petitioner contends in that representation that he had responded to an advertisement for a housing project called 'term bulls tower' in Nandanam. According to him, despite having paid the 95% of the total cost, the project has not been completed and handed over. He has corresponded with the respondent on several occasions and has sent a representation on 07.08.2023. He merely seeks an opportunity to vent his grievances and obtain clarity on the way forward as far as the project is concerned. 3.Mr.S.Naganathan, learned counsel has accepted notice for the respondent, and on instruction states that the project that was commenced in 2019 was held up on account of the intervening pandemic. He states that work has re-started and it is expected to be completed and handed over by mid next year. As far as the grievances of the buyers are concerned, he states that there was a meeting conducted on 01.09.2023.

4.The petitioner is at liberty to approach the office of the respondent to fix a date for the petitioner including other allottees to meet the sole respondent and tentative date is fixed on 17.10.2023. If they so attend, the sole respondent will hear them and suitably address their grievances. The petitioner may be represented by his father as he is stated to be abroad presently. 5.This writ petition is disposed of.
