O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to sanction Educational Loan.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Though through proceedings dated 23.12.2015, the petitioner's application was returned on the reason that the marks obtained by him in the Higher Secondary Examination is lessor than the percentage fixed, as per the Education Loan Policy, the learned counsel for the respondent Bank fairly submitted that a fresh application can be filed by the petitioner which will be considered favourably. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Therefore, without going into the correctness or otherwise of the proceedings dated 23.12.2015 issued by the respondent Bank, this writ petition is disposed of, by issuing the following directions:

(a) The petitioner shall make a fresh application to the respondent Bank within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, seeking for Educational Loan.

(b) On receipt of such application along with necessary documents, the respondent Bank will consider the said application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.

No costs.
