O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition seeks to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.149 of 2023.

2. I had called for a report from the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, as to how long she would take to dispose of the Interlocutory Applications. The learned Judge has sent a report stating that she would require six months time to dispose of the suit.

3. Mr.S.Veeraraghavan, for the Civil Revision Petitioner states that if the Interlocutory Applications are disposed of, the plaintiff would be in a position to show some progress in the proceedings.

4. The total amount of pendency cited by the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, is 4435 cases. If I were to direct the learned Judge to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.149 of 2023, she might find some difficulties.

5. Therefore, considering the amount of cases pending on her file, the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpet, is directed to dispose of the I.A.Nos.1 of 2023, 2 of 2024 and 3 of 2024 in O.S.N.149 of 2023, on or before 31.01.2025.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
