O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.12.2016 in accordance with law and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to detain the petitioner's husband Raja Son of Natarajan, under Tamil Nadu GOONDAS Act 14/1982 to secure the ends of justice.
2. It is seen that when the matter was posted on 08.02.2017 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 06.03.2017. Thereafter, for the past two years, the learned counsel has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows that the petitioner has no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending for more than two years without even ordering notice. Now after the lapse of two years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
