By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he joined as Junior Assistant in the Treasuries and Accounts Department on 13.11.2000. Thereafter the petitioner completed his probation on 07.12.2006 and he was included in the panel of Accountant in the year 2007-2008. Thereafter the petitioner made a representation dated 23.03.2015 for promotion as Superintendent. However on 03.08.2015, without any notice his name was deleted from the panel. In this regard the petitioner filed appeal dated 03.12.2018 before the first respondent objecting the deletion of his name from the panel, but till date the same has been not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 03.12.2018 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal petition dated 03.12.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
