O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2022, in and by which, he sought to rectify mistakes in the Revenue Records in respect of the property in S.F.Nos.264/3A, 267/1A, 266/2C, 265/2B1 and 265/ 2B2 in Thottapadi Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 20.12.2023, this Court directed the District Revenue Officer, Kallakurichi to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.12.2022 and pass appropriate Page Nos.2/5

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and the writ petition was directed to be listed under the caption ''for reporting compliance''.

3. When the matter was taken up for further hearing under the caption ''for reporting compliance'' on 21.02.2024, since the order of this Court dated 20.12.2023 had not been complied with, this Court directed the District Revenue Officer, Kallakurichi to appear before this Court on 29.02.2024.

4. Today (29.02.2024), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the District Revenue Officer, Kallakurichi, has appeared before this Court and submitted that order of this Court dated 20.12.2023 has been duly complied with and final order has also been passed on the said representation of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also accepted the same. Page Nos.3/5
