ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to add section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961 in C.C.No.178 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Dharmapuri based on the petitioner representation dated 19.09.2017.

2.Mr.K.Prabakar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the trial commenced and the petitioner has been examined as P.W.1 and other witness as P.W.2 and pending for cross examination of P.Ws.1 and 2. Therefore, the petitioner can very well invoke Sections 216 and 319 of Cr.P.C. during trial if so advised.
