The petitioner, who arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.07.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(c) and 4(1-A)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, in Crime No.111 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent states that the chemical analysis report confirms the presence of atropine, a dangerous substance and the petitioner was arrested on 22.07.2025 for possession of 10 litres of illicit arrack and other cases are also pending against him.
3. Considering these facts, the petition for bail is dismissed for the present.
