O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.Sundresh, J.) This public interest litigation has been filed by the petitioner in person seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to declare Netaji Subash Chandra Bose's birthday anniversary on January, 23rd as national holiday every year by considering the representation made on 27.01.2016.
2. The services rendered by the late leader to the freedom struggle does not require any elaboration, however, this is a matter to be considered by respondent No.3. Therefore, we do not propose to go into the merits of the case. Taking into consideration of the representation of the petitioner though said to have been made very recently on 27.01.2016, respondent No.3 is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. The petitioner is also directed to send copy of the representation aforesaid to respondent No.3 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the order along with the copy of this order.
3. The writ petition is disposed of in terms aforesaid. No costs. Consequently, all connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
