Ms.A.Flora Daisy Rani, the petitioner, has filed this writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider her claim for continuance as Graduate Teacher(Tamil) and for extension of all consequential service benefits thereto on the basis of the representation dated 15.07.2015.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Graduate Assistant (Tamil) on 08.01.2013 in Thali (jyp) Government Panchayat Union School. After 4 days, she was informed by the Headmaster of the School to contact the Chief Educational Officer and to produce No Objection Certificate with regard to qualification of 10 + 2 + 3 scheme, even though she had passed the Teachers Eligibility Test. so far issued the said No Objection Certificate. Hence, the petitioner had sent a representation dated 15.07.2015 to the respondents, however, the said representation is not disposed of till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of her repeated oral explanation that she finished the course in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern, she was not allowed to continue as Graduate Assistant (Tamil).
4. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that six weeks time may be granted to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2015.
5. Considering the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
