The petitioner, after serving as Principal Incharge in Government Fine Arts College, Chennai, had retired from service on superannuation on 30.06.2013. Thereafter, 3rd respondent has settled his retirement benefits such as terminal benefits, pensionary benefits, Provident Fund and Gratuity. However, the 3rd respondent has not settled the benefits relating to Earned Leave and Unearned Leave. Hence, he made a representation dated 07.08.2015. However, on its non-consideration, he has filed the present writ petition.

2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, sought 8 weeks time to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2015 and pass orders.
3. Taking note of the pendency of the representation, this court directs the the 2nd respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
