By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner retired from the post of Assistant Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department in the year 2010. The Government issued G.O.Ms.No.222 Finance (Pension) Department introducing the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2018 for pensioners (including spouses) / family pensioners. The scheme is compulsory for the 1/3

pensioners and the monthly subscription is deducted from the pension by the pension disbursing authorities. The pensioners, the spouse and the unmarried daughter of the pensioners are eligible to receive medical reimbursement amount and the petitioner's unmarried daughter is suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis and she was advised to undergo knee replacement in both the knees and she underwent left knee replacement in the BRJ Ortho Centre and MAK Hospital at Coimbatore. Thereafter they produced medical bills incurred for the surgery for reimbursement along with the representation dated 03.04.2019, but till date the amount has not been paid to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition. 3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2019 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
