PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's land bearing Survey No.34/3A, 3.28 (1.33.0) for an extent of 1.16 cent, situated in Aakkanur Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, while the Revenue Official Survey the land for SubDivision in accordance with law. ORDER

The petitioner herein alleges that when the Government Surveyor came to measure the land, the private respondents, who are the owners of the adjacent land objected and therefore, the Surveyor returned without measuring the land.

2. The learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) states that the subject land falls within the jurisdiction of Ramanatham Police Station and not Thittakudi Police Station. If any interference in discharge of his lawful duty is reported by the Surveyor, the concerned police will take appropriate action and give protection.
