This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his property situated in Survey Number.1176A, 1B, Old No.28, New No.43, Perumal Naicker Street, Kaveripakkam Post, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, who is the brother of the petitioner and the civil case has been disposed of and the decree has also been passed in A.S.No.93 of 2014 by the Sub Court, Arakkonam dated 24.11.2015. According to the petitioner, the appeal is ended in his favour. However, the third respondent continues to harass the petitioner and his representation for protection was not considered by the police.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that by making the very same 2/4

representation earlier, a petition was filed by the petitioner and that was taken up for enquiry and current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.1042/SPG/SB/2020 and it was closed on 25.09.2020. However, the petitioner has given another representation on 13.05.2022. 5.

It is learnt that the said representation is not yet received by the police. Hence the petitioner is at liberty to give one more representation afresh to the second respondent police. On receipt of the same, the second respondent police shall consider the same and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
