This is the second bail petition filed by the accused for offence under Sections 8(c) read with 22(C), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.106 of 2025.

The petitioner is arrayed as A2. Accused 1 and 2 were arrested for the 1/4

alleged possession of 55 grams of Methamphetamine. The earlier bail petition was dismissed on 24.07.2025. The present second bail petition has been filed on the ground that the petitioner has already been in prison for 185 days and therefore, seeks bail.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the contraband, being a commercial quantity of Methamphetamine, was recovered in an auto in which this petitioner, along with A1, wass travelling. He further submitted that the final report has been filed on 22.05.2025 and there is no change in circumstances. 4.

Considering the quantity of contraband seized from the petitioner and taking note of the rigour under Section 37(1)(b) of NDPS Act, this Court does not find any merit in the present petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
