Heard.

2. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, seeking transfer of H.M.O.P. No.55 of 2025 from the file of the Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee to the file of the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, Chennai.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a proceeding under the Domestic Violence Act had also been initiated by the petitioner before the Court at Poonamallee and, in the interregnum, the said petition has been numbered. It is submitted that the petitioner proposes to seek transfer of the Domestic Violence proceedings also to the Court at Tambaram by taking appropriate steps, in accordance with law.

4. Considering the submissions and the circumstances placed, this Court is inclined to allow the transfer petition.

5. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P. No.957 of 2025 is allowed and H.M.O.P. No.55 of 2025 pending on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, Chennai, to be taken up and dealt with in accordance with law. The Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee is directed to transmit the entire records forthwith to the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, Chennai. In view of the above, C.M.P. No.21611 of 2025 is closed. No costs.
