This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 24.11.2023, wherein the petitioner was placed under suspension and for a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service with all service and monetary benefits. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Village Administrative Officer in the year 2012 and he was serving at Nalapalayam Village during the relevant point of time. Based on a complaint given which resulted in the registration of FIR in Crime No.532 2/6

of 2023, the petitioner was arrayed as an accused and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. The same resulted in an order of suspension passed by the 3rd respondent through proceedings dated 24.11.2023.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the suspension continues for nearly an year and the representation given by the petitioner for revocation of the order of suspension did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5.In the considered view of this Court, there is no need to interfere with the order of suspension and it will suffice to direct the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 28.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a time frame fixed by this Court.

6.In the light of the above discussion, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 28.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and a final 3/6

decision shall be taken within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

8.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
