O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to measure the schedule property and lay the boundary stones in respect of the petition mentioned properties.
2. With consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the property comprised in S.Nos.136/4, 136/5, 135/A, 135/4A, 125/5, 135/7 New Survey No.135/7B admeasuring an extent of 1.09, 0.58 and 1.11 acres was purchased by the petitioner from one Kathalingam, who is the power agent of Mrs. Chinnaponnu and Kokilavanan. The said properties were mutated in favour of the petitioner and patta was also issued vide Patta Nos.635 & 636. This being so, the petitioner made an online application dated 31.10.2022 before the first respondent to measure the subject property and she has also paid Page No.2 of 6
necessary charges to that effect, however, till date, no order was passed. Hence, this writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 31.10.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that he has no objection for the said direction being passed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 31.10.2022 and pass Page No.3 of 6
appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
